JOB OVERVIEW

As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers. You will prepare and serve high-quality beverages while ensuring exceptional customer service. Your role will involve working with various coffee machines and equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and managing transactions efficiently.

SKILLS

• Strong customer service skills to create a friendly atmosphere for patrons.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
• Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance in food preparation.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience in food service or cashiering is a plus but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year Barista Experience Required
• FoodSafe Level 1 (will need to obtain)
• Serving it Right (will need to obtain)
• Must be 19 years of age due to liquor licence
