ABOUT OUR ROLE The Barista is responsible for creating exceptional guest focused Barista to provide experiences through the preparation and service of high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items. This role combines product knowledge, efficiency, and hospitality to ensure every guest interaction is welcoming, accurate, and memorable. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to brand standards * Provide friendly, engaging, and personalized service to all guests * Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace * Operate POS system accurately for orders and transactions * Educate guests on menu offerings, including seasonal and specialty items * Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met * Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management * Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly * Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment care * Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment QUALIFICATIONS * Previous barista or food & beverage experience preferred (but not required) * Strong customer service and communication skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Basic math and cash handling skills * Flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events. * Ability to lift and move items up to 25–50 pounds such as tables, chairs, and banquet equipment. * Ability to bend, reach, and carry items as needed for event setup and breakdown. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly during service.
