We are currently recruiting for a Barista/Waiter/ress for our Spa Café here at The Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa, Edinburgh.
Our ideal candidate should provide a memorable, friendly and delectable dining experience for every guest, every time and will be responsible for overseeing the guest experience. They should be passionate about delivering a high quality dining experience, supporting colleagues and embracing and developing out-standing levels of customer satisfaction.

Day to Day duties to include but not limited to:

• To assist with the preparation, presentation and serving of all food.
• The preparation of all hot and cold beverages.
• To be operationally responsible for the running of the One Spa Café
• To work with the management teams across both Food & Beverage but also Spa, to assist in the opening of the outlet.
• To be responsible for handling guest complaints, making service and product suggestions for improvements and cash handling.
• To assist in the co-ordination of catering aspects of wider Spa packages, from both a functional and a financial point of view.

Our ideal candidate should be able to work autonomously, whilst being aware enough to be able to ask for support when required; have a good knowledge of Food & Beverage service standards and practices; be visible in the operation, recognising and maintaining relationships with regular guests as well as cultivating relationships with new guests.
We are looking for a confident and effective communicator who is customer service orientated, a strong team player who can represent the brand
Previous experience in a fast paced environment is essential
