BINA Farm Center is seeking either:

• A couple to fulfill two complementary roles – one as Barn and Facility Manager (full-time, salaried) and the other as Maintenance and Event Assistant (part-time, hourly), or
• One qualified individual to fulfill both roles combined as a full-time, salaried position

This is a live-on-site opportunity that includes a furnished one-bedroom apartment as part of the compensation package.

REQUIREMENTS

• Embrace and represent the mission of BINA Farm Center in all responsibilities and interactions.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in barn and facility maintenance, cleaning, and comparable roles
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, volunteers, and participants.
• Ability to work independently and reliably while being onsite at BINA Farm Center (this is not a remote position).
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to attend and participate in regular staff meetings
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have consistent access to a reliable vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS TO LIVE IN THE ON-SITE APARTMENT

• No children or dependents residing in the apartment
• No pets permitted
• No smoking of any kind (including tobacco, vaping, marijuana, or other substances)
• No parties or social gatherings that disrupt the peace of the property or programs
• Must maintain a clean and orderly living space
• Overnight guests must be approved in advance by the Executive Director
• Must comply with all BINA Farm Center policies and guidelines while residing in the apartment

• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and communicate with leadership about restocking needs.
• Support overall cleanliness and organization across indoor spaces to reflect BINA’s high standards of hospitality and care.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns observed during cleaning or events
