Grow with us today! ***FUTURE OPPORTUNITY- We are seeking responsible, professional Barracks Monitors to support a government contract with the United States Coast Guard at Lafayette Hall and Cain Hall in Yorktown, VA. This role is essential to maintaining the health, safety, security, and overall comfort of USCG students, service members, and authorized patrons residing in barracks facilities. Barracks Monitors provide onsite oversight of assigned housing facilities, ensuring compliance with policies, maintaining order, and promoting a safe and respectful living environment. This is a critical support role within a structured government setting. If you are dependable, observant, and take pride in maintaining structured and secure environments, this is an opportunity to serve those who serve. Job Responsibilities: * Monitor barracks facilities to ensure safety, security, and adherence to established policies * Conduct routine inspections of common areas and living spaces * Document and report incidents, maintenance issues, or policy violations * Provide customer service and guidance to residents as needed * Enforce quiet hours, visitor policies, and facility regulations * Respond appropriately to emergencies and notify leadership when required * Receive and Process Telephone Messages for Barracks Patrons Qualifications: * Must be citizens of the United States of America (U.S.A.) or legal residents lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S.A. * Must be able to speak and understand English with sufficient fluency to effectively perform assigned duties.
