Job Description We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Barrier Wall Technician to join our team. This position involves the installation, maintenance, repair, and dismantling of barrier wall systems used in highway construction and traffic control applications. The role requires strict adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. A strong commitment to safety and the ability to collaborate with coworkers and supervisors are essential to success in this role. Key Responsibilities Perform the layout of highway barrier walls. Handle and install all materials for highway barrier walls. Load and unload materials on a flatbed truck and/or trailer by hand. Operate equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, power tools, and other machinery. Dig holes and perform other manual labor tasks as needed for installation and maintenance. Conduct routine safety and maintenance checks on tools and equipment. Keep the worksite clean and organized, ensuring proper disposal of debris and materials. Complete all job-related paperwork and documentation accurately. Collaborate effectively with coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Reliable transportation to and from the workplace. Strong work ethic, communication skills, and a positive attitude. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and extended shifts (10+ hours). Strongly preferred, but not required Experience operating front-end loaders and skid steers. Experience with concrete work.
