Ravenport Resort are seeking passionate and experienced Bar Staff to join our dynamic Bar Department at the Ravenport Resort. As a Bar Team Member, you will be part of a team crafting unforgettable experiences for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in a fast-paced, high-standard environment under the mentorship of our management team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ideal candidate must be aged 18 or over
  • Hours of work will vary to include day and evening shifts, and you must be available to work midweek, weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel.
  • Mixology is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of wines, spirits, whiskeys, beers, and cocktail preparation is a must.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and grooming, aligned with the highest standards, is required.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, coupled with excellent communication skills, is essential.
  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to remain calm, solution-oriented, and proactive under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
  • Exceptional Guest Engagement: Welcome guests warmly, ensuring they feel valued and offering personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
  • Beverage Expertise: Prepare and serve an extensive range of beverages, including wines, beers, spirits, and expertly crafted cocktails.
  • Menu Knowledge: Promote and sell food and drink offerings from our outlets, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of our menus.
  • Order Management: Record and process guest orders promptly and accurately, ensuring every detail is attended to.
  • Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficiently stocked bar area always.
  • Compliance & Professionalism: Adhere to liquor laws, hotel policies, and health and safety regulations while remaining courteous and professional.
  • Atmosphere Creation: Contribute to a relaxed yet professional environment that we create and encourage guest loyalty.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the wider Food and Beverage Team to deliver a seamless and memorable experience for all guests.
