Bar Attendant Position Summary The Bar Attendant provides genuine hospitality to all Residents visiting the Bar, including: Family members, Visitors and Team Members. This job creates a special experience for our customers by providing them with prompt service, quality beverages, wholesome products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment. Qualifications and Required Experience for Bar Attendant: 2+ years bartending experience in a full-service restaurant Minimum 18 years of age with legal authorization to work in the United States Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation. Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Meets Bar operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation. Primary Responsibilities for Bistro Attendant: Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the Bar operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. Engages with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication. Anticipates Resident’s needs by constantly observing their demeaner for cues. Communicates Resident’s feed-back information to Culinary Director so that the team can respond as necessary. Assists with new employee training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Delivers genuine hospitality to all customers by acting as “Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen” and interacting with the Residents in a dignified manner. Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all Associates during each shift. Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed. Reports issues and repairs needed to Dining Room Manager.
