Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Bartender to join our dynamic team in Mysuru, India. As a Bartender, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service while crafting high-quality beverages that exceed our guests' expectations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology expertise, engage with diverse clientele, and contribute to a vibrant hospitality environment where professionalism and customer satisfaction are paramount. Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every drink Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of drink names, ingredients, preparation methods, appropriate glassware, and garnishes Maintain expert-level knowledge of wine selections by the glass and across multiple categories in varying price ranges and styles Possess thorough understanding of specialty beverages, including single malt scotches, cognacs, craft cocktails, and beer offerings Provide superior customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly, professional, and empathetic manner Manage bar inventory efficiently, monitor stock levels, and communicate any necessary restocking needs to management and support staff Complete daily inventory reports with accuracy and transparency Handle cash transactions and payment processing with precision, providing prompt and accurate income reports at the end of each shift Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene guidelines Collaborate seamlessly with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow and operational efficiency Multitask effectively during peak service periods while maintaining composure and delivering consistent quality Sell beverages responsibly, prioritizing guest well-being and making ethical recommendations Assist with additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management Report to work punctually and maintain a professional appearance at all times Qualifications Proven bartending experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment (preferred) Strong beverage knowledge with expertise in mixology, cocktails, wines, spirits, and beer Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures Food safety and sanitation certification or willingness to obtain one Mixology or bartending certification (preferred) Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly Strong organizational and time management skills Exceptional customer service orientation with a genuine passion for hospitality Ability to multitask and thrive in high-pressure environments Problem-solving mindset with a decisive and resilient approach Professional appearance and demeanor Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic Collaborative team player with a positive and inclusive attitude Willingness to undergo background verification as required Compliance with local age verification and beverage service regulations Additional Information Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
