Job Description Are you passionate about crafting exceptional drinks and creating unforgettable experiences? We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in Chennai, India. As a key member of our bar staff, you'll be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, engaging with customers, and contributing to a vibrant atmosphere that keeps our patrons coming back for more. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and seasonal specials Create a welcoming and fun atmosphere for guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our drink menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles Assist in developing new cocktail recipes and contribute ideas for menu updates Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP guidelines Collaborate with other bar and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times Monitor alcohol consumption of patrons and practice responsible serving Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment Extensive knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and cocktail recipes Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Positive attitude and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences Team player willing to support colleagues across different areas of service Knowledge of local liquor laws and commitment to responsible alcohol service Food Handler's certification or willingness to obtain one Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
