Job Description Primary Responsibilities: Perform opening and closing duties, ensuring proper setup of the bar area and tables according to standards. Deliver exceptional food and beverage service, adhering to departmental standards and LQA service standards. Greet patrons warmly, take orders, and serve food and beverages promptly and at the correct temperature. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens. Up-sell and promote food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue, cross-selling other dining venues when necessary. Handle guest complaints and comments tactfully, reporting any issues to management promptly. Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, hygiene, and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP). Supervise assigned work stations and assist in overseeing outlet operations in the absence of management. Collaborate with other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times or when required. Attend all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as assigned by management, staying updated on hotel services, fire safety, and emergency procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hotel environment. Strong knowledge of beverage & cocktail preparation techniques and recipes. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and public holidays. Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
