Job Description

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while creating genuine connections with our guests. You will prepare and serve a range of beverages, maintain a polished and welcoming bar environment, and contribute to a seamless guest experience across the venue.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, takes pride in their craft, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
• Deliver warm, professional and personalised service to guests
• Create memorable interactions through your product knowledge and hospitality expertise
• Recommend beverages and maximise guest experiences through thoughtful upselling
• Maintain presentation and cleanliness standards across all bar areas
• Support restaurant, event and function service as required
• Assist with stock control, stocktakes and inventory management
• Process guest transactions accurately through POS systems
• Uphold Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements at all times
• Contribute to a culture of excellence by supporting Elysium's service standards and rituals

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort or premium hospitality venue
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and beverage service
• A current RSA Certificate
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
• Strong personal presentation and attention to detail
• Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
