Adecco is currently hiring several enthusiastic and skilled Bartenders to join Cirque du Soleil’s dynamic concessions team in Calgary, Alberta. As the face behind the bar, you will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences by serving beverages with speed, style, and professionalism. You’ll use your mixology skills, product knowledge, and warm personality to keep customers coming back for more.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ProServe Certification (required).
  • Minimum 1 year of bartending or relevant hospitality experience.
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
  • Experience with craft cocktails, beer, and wine service.
  • Cash handling and POS experience.
  • Food handling certification
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

Responsibilities
  • Operate a high-volume concessions bar quickly and efficiently
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic drink recipes, pours, and mixing techniques
  • Understand responsible alcohol service, including checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication
  • Follow all state/local liquor laws and venue-specific alcohol policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area throughout service
  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Provide friendly, fast, and professional customer service
  • Stand for extended periods and lift moderately heavy items (e.g., cases of beverages)
  • Ability to manage multiple orders at once while maintaining accuracy and composure
  • Deliver friendly, upbeat, and professional customer service to a diverse and international audience
  • Collaborate closely with concessions and floor staff to ensure smooth flow and prep before show, during intermission, and post-show
