Albi is the nationally recognized debut restaurant from chef/owner Michael Rafidi.
Chef Rafidi takes inspiration from his family’s Palestinian roots, bringing to the table an experience that melds the ancient tradition of the region’s coal-fired cuisine with local, seasonal, Mid-Atlantic ingredients and a refined culinary acumen.
Since opening, the concept has attracted significant critical attention, earning inclusion on national Best New Restaurant lists in Eater, Robb Report and Esquire, and was named Eater DC’s Restaurant of the Year. In 2022, Albi was awarded One Star Michelin, a distinction it earned again in 2023. Chef Michael Rafidi was also a finalist for Best Chef Mid-Atlantic in 2023 and won Jame’s Beard award for Outstanding Chef in 2024.
Albi is seeking a team- and career-minded Bartender who is highly motivated and passionate about hospitality. We are seeking individuals who have the desire to combine a tireless appetite for knowledge with a high level of anticipation & awareness to create a team based, confident, warm, & personal service. The Bartender will work closely with our Bar Director to set the tone for service at our 11-seat bar - an ideal opportunity to explore the creative possibilities of cocktail pairings and continue to refine one’s knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail development as a part of our dynamic beverage team.
