FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF – BARTENDERS & SERVERS

Join the team of a brand new Gastropub in the heart of Leaside!
We are an exciting new restaurant in the vibrant heart of Leaside, and we’re looking for enthusiastic and service-driven individuals to join our Front of House team as bartenders and/or servers.
Set in a beautiful, bespoke space, our restaurant offers a warm and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Our menu is eclectic yet approachable, inspired by French culinary roots with various influences, designed for sharing and relaxed, family-style dining.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a brand-new concept from day one, helping shape the culture and guest experience as we open our doors to the community.

Responsibilities

BARTENDER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and serve a range of cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
  • Engage with guests seated at the bar in a friendly, professional manner
  • Up-sell and recommend beverages based on guest preferences; strong wine and cocktail knowledge is a plus
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately through the POS system (TouchBistro)
  • Collaborate with the Front of House and Back of Hours teams to ensure smooth service
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
  • Contribute to the development of seasonal or signature drink menus

SERVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and seat guests, providing a warm and welcoming introduction to the restaurant
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately, answering questions and making recommendations
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct orders and presentation
  • Upsell menu items confidently, with a strong understanding of the dishes and ingredients
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service
  • Handle payments accurately and responsibly through the POS system (TouchBistro)
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area before, throughout, and after service
  • Communicate effectively with both Front and Back of House staff to ensure high-quality service and guest satisfaction
