  • Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and cocktail preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

THE ROLE:

Located at the base of the Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas, Black’s Pub is a lively two-level venue with one of the best patios in the village and unbeatable views of the slopes. We’re known for our vibrant après-ski atmosphere, elevated pub fare, and welcoming energy.
We’re on the lookout for experienced Bartenders to join our team! At Black’s, you’ll be right in the heart of the action — pouring beers, mixing drinks, and delivering outstanding service to locals and visitors alike.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests efficiently and with consistent quality.
  • Create both classic cocktails and house specialty drinks, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and food pairings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, glassware, and workstations.
  • Handle transactions, operate the POS system, and manage tabs accurately.
  • Engage with guests warmly, build rapport, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied.
  • Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
  • Uphold all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service protocols.
  • Assist in restocking inventory and preparing garnishes and mixers before and during shifts.
  • Contribute to team success with a strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism.
