Bartender   Employment Status:  Part-time   FLSA Status:  Nonexempt   Benefit Status:   Bella Vista Property Owners Association   Department: Bella Vista Restaurant Group   Department #:   Reports to: Restaurant/Bar Manager   Safety Rating:  Normal   Starting Pay:    Prepared Date: December 2022        POSITION SUMMARY    The Bartender provides timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverages for our guests. May require independent judgment in the disposition of routine matters without direct supervision. Will work under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Manager or the Lead Bartender.   REQUIREMENTS, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:   * Must be 21 years of age  * Requires an extensive knowledge of bartending  * Perform the job successfully and must always work safely  * Must have excellent customer service skill  * Must have basic reading and math skills and ability to handle money and operate a     point-of-sale system  * The ability to communicate and understand predominant language(s) of our guests  * Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)  * Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)   * Basic computer skills and ability to operate a point-of-sales system   * Basic understanding of dining room and service procedures and functions   * Multi-task oriented   * Must be able to upsell food and beverage items   * Knowledge of workplace safety procedures   * Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily      Physical Demands and Work Environment   The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Responsibilities
