Server/Bartender + Beverage Coordinator
This is a dual-role: This position combines FOH service shifts with key responsibilities in beverage operations and team coordination.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Availability 2 midweek afternoons and Saturday evenings at minimum required for this opening. Other hours available to right candidate.
  • Applicants must be comfortable working regular Server/Bartender shifts in addition to administrative duties.

Server / Bartender
Job Summary:
Provides both bar and table service, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves taking food and drink orders, mixing and serving beverages, managing inventory, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ​Greet and seat customers, taking orders for food and drinks
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer requests
  • Check identification to ensure customers meet legal drinking age requirements
  • Provide recommendations on menu items, including beverages
  • Serve food and beverages to tables
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Clear and reset tables and bar efficiently
  • Ensure a positive dining experience by delivering excellent customer service
  • Build rapport with guests to enhance their experience
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally
  • Adhere to food safety and quality regulations
  • Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
  • Follow established health and safety guidelines
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
  • Adheres to strict opening and closing procedures

Beverage Coordinator
Job Summary:
In addition to Server/Bartender duties, the Beverage Coordinator oversees front-of-house beverage operations and supports administrative functions to ensure smooth service and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage liquor, beer, and wine ordering on a weekly basis
  • Oversee inventory reporting and management on a 4-week cycle
  • Train new FOH employees and support onboarding
  • Act as first point of contact for customer opportunities and feedback
  • Improve current FOH operations through proactive problem-solving
  • Manage and update the cocktail menu
  • Attend ad-hoc meetings and contribute to team planning
  • Provide reports on beverage performance, inventory, and operations

Preferred:

  • 2+ years experience in bartending and/or serving
  • CA RBS certified
  • CA Serve Safe
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and responsible alcohol service
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
