SUMMARY
The Bartender is responsible for preparing drinks whilst ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of service and professionalism.
The Bartender reports to the Bar Manager & Assistant Bar Manager.
· To welcome all customers in a friendly professional manner.
· Taking beverage orders from customers and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail.
· Peel, slice and prepare all fruit for garnishing drinks.
· Keeping a well stocked bar with a good supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware and other accessories as needed.
· Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations.
· Prepare all drinks and cocktails to Bibis specifications.
· Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers.
· Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake by following established procedures.
· Process all customer orders & payments through the till system whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
· To maintain low wastage levels through excellent stock management and rotation.
· Coordinate stock deliveries and keep accurate and up to date records.
· Assist with the cellar and stock storage areas, ensuring they are secure, neat and clean at all times.
· Ensure all bar cleaning procedures are correctly followed to maintain high levels of hygiene.
