JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, mixing and serving drinks, taking food orders, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. This position also includes serving duties while on shift, so versatility and adaptability are key. Your ability to manage time effectively, handle cash transactions, and work well under pressure will play a crucial role in the success of our establishment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Smart Serve certification is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or similar environment.
  • Previous serving experience is an asset.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy shifts.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help others create memorable experiences.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Take food orders and serve meals in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or requests.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverage items.
  • Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the food service industry, and menu changes.
