Professional Bartender – Full-Time, Permanent

Caesar’s Steak House – Downtown Calgary

Caesar’s Steak House is seeking a dynamic, professional and passionate career Bartender to join our Downtown service team.

For more than 50 years, Caesar’s has been known for exceptional steaks, fine wine, classic cocktails and genuine hospitality. We are looking for more than someone who can simply make drinks. We want someone who views bartending and hospitality as a career and a craft and takes pride in creating an exceptional guest experience.

As a Bartender, you will provide full food and beverage service to guests at the bar while helping maintain and develop our overall beverage program.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare classic and contemporary cocktails, wine, beer, non-alcoholic and espresso beverages to Caesar’s standards.
• Provide polished, knowledgeable and engaging service while building genuine rapport with guests.
• Maintain strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits and wine.
• Participate in the creation and development of new cocktails and our evolving beverage program.
• Assist with wine cellar organization and stocking, including proper storage, organization and inventory.
• Maintain a fully stocked, exceptionally clean and organized bar, including coolers, back bar, liquor and wine storage.
• Prepare mixes, garnishes and bar mise en place.
• Understand the proper use and care of professional bar equipment, including glasswashers, draft beer and glycol systems, soda systems, refrigeration, ice and espresso equipment.

Previous professional bartending experience is required, along with strong cocktail and wine knowledge. Serving experience is an asset.
