Your day to day Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: * Deliver high-quality Food & Beverage service in line with hotel standards * Ensure the bar and service areas are clean, organised, and ready for guests * Lead daily briefings and support team communication * Train and guide team members on service and beverage knowledge * Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, coffee, and tea * Engage with guests, recommend beverages, and upsell daily specials * Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally * Ensure responsible service of alcohol and comply with local regulations * Maintain stock control and support cellar/bar operations * Support promotions and initiatives to increase revenue * Assist with manpower planning and daily operations What we need from you For you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following: * Diploma in Bar Tending or related field * 1 to 2 years’ experience in bar operations. * Must be fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia * Basic mathematics skills * Excellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skills * Willingness to work evenings and weekends What we offer In return we'll give you a competitive benefit package including hotel discounts worldwide and the opportunity to progress your career with IHG®.
