We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. Charcoal Steakhouse/Martini’s has been a leader in the hospitality industry for over 65 years in Waterloo Region. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous bartending experience is preferred, but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Cash handling experience is necessary to manage transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for efficient order processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods effectively.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations while serving drinks.
• Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies when necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns in a professional manner to enhance their experience.
