Chubby’s Jamaican Kitchen is an exciting and fresh Jamaican restaurant concept in the heart of Toronto, and we are looking for Experienced Bartenders to join our team! We want to bring a taste of Jamaica to Toronto by providing authentic Jamaican Cuisine with modern twists in a fun and inviting environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The right person for this role has a strong hospitality leadership background and prioritizes both guest and team member experience. The ideal candidate is equal parts people and process-driven with an aptitude for creating cocktails and a transporting experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong communication skills
  • 3+ years bartending experience
  • Smart Serve Certification
  • Passion and Positive vibes

Preference will be given to those who possess:

  • Previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails and spirits

  • Prepare drinks to order as punched in by service team
  • Communicate daily specials and make recommendations to guests
  • Cultivate a unique and memorable dining experience for guests
  • Handle cash and process payments
  • Serve alcohol in accordance with Ontario Law
  • Study to maintain strong product and menu knowledge
  • Follow Health and Safety Standards when handling food and beverage
  • Attend regularly scheduled training meetings to develop knowledge and skills
  • Develop a rapport with frequent guests
