Job Summary The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner, consistent with the Couples Resorts brand. This role requires strong product knowledge, efficiency, and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene, and safety. This position reports to the Bar Team Leader. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with resort recipes and presentation standards Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests Maintain thorough knowledge of cocktail menus, wine lists, and beverage promotions Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, equipment, and storage spaces Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and requisitions Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards Collaborate effectively with bar, restaurant, and service teams Uphold Couples Resorts grooming, conduct, and service standards at all times Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a bartender, preferably in a hotel or resort environment Certification in bartending or mixology is an asset Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of international cocktails, wines, and spirits Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards Competencies & Skills Excellent customer service orientation Attention to detail and consistency Time management and multitasking abilities Team-oriented mindset Problem-solving skills Working Conditions Indoor and outdoor bar environments High guest interaction Fast-paced hospitality setting
