JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety and bartending techniques. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a bartending or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices is required.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Wine and cocktail knowledge
  • Great knowledge of F&B products.
  • Excellent service skills.
  • A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help guests enjoy their experience.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality.
  • Certification in bartending or mixology is advantageous but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain the bar’s financial records.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely delivery to guests.
  • Stay updated on new drink recipes, trends in the beverage industry, and seasonal offerings.
  • Handle the ordering, collection and disposal of all related beverages
  • Preparation and service of all beverage products in accordance with the outlet standards and recipes, with highest quality and freshness
  • Handle with the cashiering duties
  • Assist in the floor service when required
  • Up-sell and promote our food and beverage offers at every available opportunity
  • Ensure that the bar is well-stocked with equipment and products in accordance with the bar standards
  • Strive to ensure that our guests receive the highest standards of product and service delivery in accordance with approved recipes, specifications, customers and management expectations
  • Maintain a friendly yet professional inter-action with guests and team members
