JOB SUMMARY

The bartender provides guests with a quality lounge experience by greeting guests in a friendly manner, telling them about daily specials, and creating a memorable guest experience. The bartender serves guests with all food and beverage requirements in a pleasant, courteous, and professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Reliable Transportation to Whitecap required
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Smart Serve required to start
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a bartender
  • Flexible schedule
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Must be able to multi- task and prioritize tasks when needed in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess basic math, reading, and writing skills
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Must be willing to work in Whitecap, Saskatchewan
Responsibilities
  • Provides personalized service to all guests
  • Takes drink orders from customers
  • Responsible for knowing prices of menu items
  • Performs wait and service standards in a timely manner
  • Serves drinks such as wine and beer
  • Mixed drinks and cocktails according to recipes
  • Checks identification of customers to ensure that they are of legal drinking age
  • Cleans bar, tables, and work areas
  • Operate POS system, cash handling, and debit/credit transactions
  • Manages bar operation, order, maintain liquor and bar supplies
  • Provide food service
  • Follow food safety standards
