We present the finest in live theatre for all ages at seven unique venues across Ontario: the Drayton Festival Theatre in Drayton, Huron Country Playhouse (Mainstage and South Huron Stage) in Grand Bend, King’s Wharf Theatre in Penetanguishene, St. Jacobs Country Playhouse and Hildebrand Schoolhouse Theatre in St. Jacobs, and the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge. Responsibilities
  • Being ready to serve customers one hour prior to each performance unless authorized otherwise.
  • In the case of an emergency, the bartender is the incident commander, remaining at the bar until all patrons have left the building or you have transferred responsibility to another Drayton Employee and that employee has accepted responsibility.
  • Keeping bar storage and lounge in a neat and tidy order including cleaning the bar equipment and lounge area as required and overseeing the emptying of lounge garbage and recycling containers.
  • Cleaning the bar area and restocking the bar at the end of every shift so the bar is ready for the next event.
  • Being responsible for ordering, receiving, putting stock away, and selling all concession products.
  • Never leaving the Lounge unattended unless carrying out other responsibilities at which time the Lounge product must be secure.
  • Ensure that all revenue and product is secure after every performance.
  • Tracking sales accurately entering sales data into the tracking sheet after each performance.
  • Tracking inventory accurately by performing daily physical inventory counts, recording counts accurately in the tracking sheet, following up on discrepancies and communicating discrepancies to the Facility Manager.
  • Being accountable to the Facility Manager regarding the inventory, sales, and incoming product via a weekly report.
  • Assisting the Facility Manager and Front of House Manager during Opening nights and special events.
  • Consulting with the Facility Manager on a regular basis concerning ongoing activities of Lounge happenings.
  • Abiding by the company’s health and safety policies.
  • Liaising with manufacturers regarding the operation of all lounge equipment.
  • Being familiar and compliant with liquor laws as they pertain to the facility.
  • Be familiar with House Manager & Ushers duties and responsibilities.
  • Be familiar with Fire Safety Plan and Emergency Procedures, and be ready to act as Incident Commander when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager
