Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team in Malta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Take beverage orders accurately and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and workstations.
• Check and maintain adequate stock of beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Prepare garnishes and ensure all ingredients are ready for service.
• Operate bar equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle customer requests, questions, and complaints professionally.
• Work closely with waiters, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Good knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to prepare a variety of cocktails and standard drinks.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of bar hygiene and safety standards.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
