Description Position Overview Edina Country Club is now hiring Bartenders to support our Dining Room and Pub venues. This position is ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy member interaction, and take pride in delivering high-quality beverage service. Bartenders are primarily responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating a welcoming, friendly, and efficient bar experience for members and guests. This role also supports overall service by collaborating closely with servers and maintaining a clean, organized bar area. Availability for evening shifts and mandatory weekend shifts is required. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and standards. Engage with members and guests to provide a welcoming and personalized bar experience. Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specials. Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all state and local liquor laws. Accurately process orders and handle transactions as needed. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the bar area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service. Monitor guest experience and anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment. May be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, or lifting Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous bartending experience required (1 Year) Must be at least 18 years of age (or as required by state law for alcohol service) Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage service techniques preferred Ability to effectively communicate with members, guests, and team members Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to work with a wide range of personalities, even in challenging situations High school diploma or equivalent preferred Mandatory availability for weekends Evening availability required Work Environment Edina Country Club is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the role.
