Our team plays an important role in creating the atmosphere our guests expect. We value professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and consistent service, particularly during high-volume periods when strong communication and execution are essential.
We are currently seeking Bartenders to join our team.
Role Responsibilities
Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where speed, accuracy, and guest service matter equally?
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing efficient and professional beverage service while contributing to the safe and effective operation of the bar. This position is best suited to individuals who can remain composed under pressure, work effectively as part of a team, and maintain high standards throughout busy late-night service.
Experience working in a high-volume nightclub, bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment is considered an asset; however, we are also open to candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, reliability, work ethic, and ability to learn.
The successful candidate will work closely with fellow bartenders, bar support staff, servers, supervisors, security personnel, and management to provide timely service and maintain an organized and professional bar environment.
This role is responsible for:
Key Responsibilities and Performance Expectations
High-Volume Service:
Provides fast and accurate beverage service while maintaining quality and professionalism during periods of significant guest volume.
Guest Experience:
Creates a welcoming and professional interaction with guests while balancing service expectations with the demands of a high-volume nightlife environment.
Responsible Service:
Maintains awareness of responsible alcohol service obligations and follows venue procedures related to identification, intoxication, guest safety, and liquor regulations.
Teamwork and Communication:
Works cooperatively with bartenders, barbacks, servers, security, supervisors, and management. Communicates clearly and responds appropriately to changing operational needs.
Cash and Transaction Accuracy:
Processes transactions accurately and follows company procedures related to cash handling, point-of-sale systems, payment processing, and financial accountability.
Bar Readiness and Organization:
Maintains appropriate stock levels, cleanliness, organization, and workstation readiness throughout the shift.
Qualifications
Previous bartending experience is considered an asset, particularly within a high-volume nightclub, bar, restaurant, event, or hospitality environment.
Candidates without significant bartending experience may also be considered where they demonstrate strong customer service skills, reliability, professionalism, and the ability to learn and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Applicants must meet all legal requirements to serve alcohol in Alberta, including holding or obtaining a ProServe.
