EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, cocktail recipes, and food safety standards.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
  • A friendly disposition with the ability to engage positively with customers and create an inviting atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all orders are processed efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management, including ordering supplies when necessary.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
  • Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
