Gerni’s Farmhouse is an Austrian/German Restaurant, named after the Resort’s owner, Mr. Gernot Langes-Swarovski. It focuses on authentic Bavarian cuisine.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completed bartending course preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years in similar bartending position but willing to train the right candidate
  • Current Serving It Right Certificate
  • Knowledge of standard wines, beers, and drink recipes
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
  • Reliable transportation essential

Responsibilities
  • Setup bar with necessary ingredients before service begins
  • Pour wine and beer
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages
  • Provide consistent and high quality service at all times
  • Adhere to and assist in the development of recipes when requested
  • Maintain knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits on the menu in order to answer questions and provide excellent service
  • Setup and takedown bar at banquets and functions with all necessary supplies
  • Provide bar service at banquets and functions
  • Stop serving guests alcohol after it is determined they have consumed too much
  • Other duties as assigned
