Job Description Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Bartender / Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team on a full-time basis. This dynamic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys delivering exceptional service across both bar and floor. You’ll play a key part in creating memorable guest experiences, whether crafting quality beverages or providing attentive table service. Key Responsibilities Include: Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine Provide attentive food and beverage service, including taking orders and delivering meals Deliver professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests Recommend menu items, drink pairings, and upsell to enhance the guest experience Maintain clean, stocked, and organised bar and service areas Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure seamless service Comply with all health, hygiene, and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards Shift Details (subject to change): Dual role, primarily focused on bartending, with additional shifts as a Food & Beverage Attendant. Full-time position, 30 hours per week. $26 NZD per hour. Shift times: 2:30pm – 10:30pm. Ideal start date: June 2026. Qualifications To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum 2 years’ bartending experience is essential. Previous Food & Beverage Attendant experience is highly regarded. Strong product knowledge and confidence in preparing classic cocktails. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable personality.
