BARTENDER – JOB DESCRIPTION Bartender Responsibilities: The Bartender is responsible for verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol paring, and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies. The Bartender reports directly to the Bar Manager. BARTENDER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: * Maintain an effective atmosphere and an effective food and beverage service * Keep all areas of bar cleaned and always stocked * Wash and sterilize all glasses * Accurately account for all beverages and cash out accordingly * Serve all alcohol responsibly EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time, up to 10 hours at a time * Ability to cross-train and work in different departments * Ability to obtain Liquor License and complete required server training HOURS: The Bartender is either full time or part time position and hours will vary SALARY/INCOME: The Bartender is a non-exempt, hourly position
