Set in the heart of one of London’s most famous department stores, the restaurant offers a lively and stylish setting where guests enjoy expertly crafted drinks alongside exceptional food.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our talented team. As part of the front-of-house operation, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service at the bar, creating memorable guest experiences, and showcasing your expertise in spirits, wines, and cocktails.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Bartender, you’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality drinks, engaging warmly with guests, and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. You’ll combine creativity and technical skill with a passion for hospitality, ensuring every drink served meets the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages to an exceptional standard.
  • Guest Experience: Engage with guests in a warm, professional manner, offering recommendations and creating a welcoming bar environment.
  • Cocktail Expertise: Showcase your knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, suggesting pairings to complement the menu.
  • Stock Management: Maintain and replenish bar stock, ensuring correct storage and rotation.
  • Bar Setup & Close Down: Ensure the bar is fully prepared ahead of service and properly closed down at the end of the shift.
  • Quality & Consistency: Maintain high standards of presentation and flavour in every drink served.
  • Efficiency Under Pressure: Work quickly and effectively during busy service periods without compromising quality.
  • Compliance: Follow licensing laws, health and safety procedures, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Support colleagues across the floor and work closely with the FOH and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process guest payments when required.
