Description Part Time Seasonal Job Summary: Grandfather Golf & Country Club has part time opportunities for seasonal bartenders who enjoy providing excellent member service and building relationships. Then main responsibility is preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our members and their guests. We are in search of people who engender trust, demonstrate a sense of urgency and assure consistent achievement of quality standards. The work requires making decisions that support company guidelines authoritatively and quickly. Job Responsibilities: Works with the Bar and Beverage Manager to establish and monitor par stock; assists in managing inventory. Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available. Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the bar; coordinates with the kitchen for garnishes. Follows set-up procedures. Greets members and guests. Mixes, prepares and serves drinks to members and guests according to the recipes approved by the Bar and Beverage Manager. Cleans bar as required. Washes and polishes all bar glasses. Assists with parties/special functions as needed. Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment including glass washer equipment. Advises the MOD of complaints. Ensure bar stock are maintained at all times. Cleans and locks up bar area and equipment according to prescribed procedures. Carefully follows all state and local laws and the Club’s policies relating to the service of alcohol; informs manager if service or continued service to a member or guest is questionable. Thanks members and guests; invites them to return. Consistently follows all proper sanitation practices, including those related to personal hygiene. Wears proper uniform at all times. Enters all member charges into the Point of Sale System; completes a “Servers Report”, attaches paper tickets and remits to accounting; ensures all tickets in numerical sequence are included. Completes other appropriate tasks as requested by the Bar and Beverage Manager. Responsibilities
