JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, serving beverages, and ensuring that all drinks are prepared to the highest standards. Your ability to manage time effectively and engage with customers will be key to providing an exceptional experience.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Deliver a warm and engaging service, ensuring all guests receive a positive and professional experience.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, to provide expert recommendations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and make real-time adjustments to enhance their experience.
  • Ensure a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the bar area at all times.
Responsibilities

OPERATIONAL DUTIES

  • Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, following hotel standards and recipes.
  • Ensure the bar is fully stocked, set up, and maintained throughout the shift.
  • Take drink orders efficiently and serve guests in a timely manner.
  • Follow procedures for opening and closing the bar, including cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle table reservations and coordinate seating arrangements as required.
  • Ensure all bar equipment and glassware are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained.
  • Adhere to all hotel security procedures, including verifying ID for age-restricted sales and preventing excessive alcohol consumption.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Support team members and collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by senior management in line with business needs.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour
