POSITION SUMMARY

Our service mission at Hollyburn Country Club is to provide our Members with an unparalleled dining and social experience in a premium casual setting. By delivering exceptional hospitality and attentive service, we aim to create memorable moments that our Members are proud to share with family and friends. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in this mission, crafting high-quality beverages and ensuring each guest enjoys outstanding service that reflects Hollyburn’s commitment to excellence.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale environment.
  • Valid Serving It Right (required)
  • Food Safe Level 1 certifications (preferred)
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation is an asset, as public transit to the Club’s location is limited.
  • Candidates aged 19 or older must obtain a Police Information Check with a vulnerable sector search as part of the onboarding process.
Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests warmly, ensuring prompt, courteous, and professional attention to their needs.
  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, creativity, and consistency.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Club’s menu offerings, including food, wine, beer, and spirits, to make informed recommendations and upsell products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stock management, glassware handling, and compliance with Health and Safety standards.
  • Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, assist with restocking, and track sales accurately through the Club’s point-of-sale system.
  • Adhere to all relevant laws and Club policies regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
