Job Summary: Howling Wolf is seeking a skilled and energetic Bartender to join our team. This role is pivotal in creating an engaging bar atmosphere and delivering exceptional drink service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a flair for engaging with customers, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a high-volume bar is essential.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong understanding of mixology, bar equipment, and common cocktails.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Knowledge of handling and maintaining a cash drawer.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Certification from a bartending school or equivalent training is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local liquor laws.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting.

  • Inventory Management: Keep the bar stocked and clean. Regularly check inventory levels and request restocks as needed.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately manage tabs and cash transactions. Ensure all sales are recorded properly.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol service and health code regulations.
  • Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, ensuring all equipment functions correctly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the bar and restaurant staff to ensure a seamless service experience.
