Description
The Bartender is responsible for delivering a high-quality beverage experience to guests at Le Petit Belge by preparing and serving drinks efficiently, maintaining bar presentation, and providing friendly, professional service in line with Crowne Plaza and IHG brand standards. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and outlet standards. * Provide warm, professional, and engaging service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience. * Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of the bar area at all times. * Ensure correct handling, storage, and stock rotation of beverages and bar supplies. * Accurately record orders and process bills using the hotel POS system. * Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible service guidelines at all times. * Assist with inventory counts, stock requisitions, and minimizing wastage. * Upsell beverages and promote signature drinks and menu items. * Comply with all hygiene, health, safety, and hotel SOPs. * Handle guest feedback professionally and report issues to the Supervisor or Manager. * Support the team during busy service periods and assist with other duties as assigned. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: * Previous experience as a Bartender, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or upscale bar environment. * Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and beverage service standards. * Certification in food safety or responsible beverage service is an advantage. * Experience with POS systems is preferred. * Excellent customer service and communication skills * Strong attention to detail and time management * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Team-oriented with a positive attitude * Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US: We give our people everything they need to succeed.
