JOB OVERVIEW

Gibney’s London is looking to expand our bar team ahead of the winter season. Locted downstairs below Daffodil Mulligan by Richard Corrigan, Gibney’s is the sister pub to Gibney’s Malahide, led by the fifth generation publican family. We specialise in live music, ranging from local to world renowned acts, sports, next level bar food and one of the best rated pints of Guinness in London, among many other things.
The ideal candidate will have loads of personality, know how to have the craic but can also roll their sleeves up when it’s needed. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for giving guests a warm welcome and ensuring that they are all looked after while in the venue. Your ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role.

SKILLS

  • Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Previous experience in an Irish pub setting is highly desirable
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
