Description Job Title: Bartender Department: Hospitality Reports To: Director of Hospitality and Event Services Position Type: Part-time, flexible hours Salary: $20/hr. Last Modified: June 2023 Position Description We are looking for a licensed bartender who can provide our guests with an outstanding experience. This position will prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for private events held at the Goodman Community Center. Requirements Qualifications Must hold a valid City of Madison Operator’s License or be willing to obtain one Exceptional customer service, professionalism and interpersonal skills Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and familiar with standard drink recipes Experience bartending, preferably for banquet events Basic mathematical skills and money handling experience Responsibilities Enforce all applicable Wisconsin Alcohol Beverage Laws Ensures responsible alcohol service by adhering to minors’ service laws Assist with minimizing disturbances and maintaining the safety of customers and the community Support the Event Coordinator to ensure safe alcohol beverage service & storage Assist Lead Bartender with inventory and bar set-up before event Work with all catering staff members to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service Break down service area, clean up, put away bar, properly dispose of, and store any remaining liquor
Responsibilities
