Overview
KLEO at Hotel Indigo Irving-Las Colinas is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender to shape and optimize our hotel’s food and beverage landscape. Job Summary:
As a Bartender at KLEO at Hotel Indigo Irving-Las Colinas, you bring more than just drinks to the table—you deliver an experience rooted in creativity, local flavor, and genuine hospitality. You’ll craft beverages with care, engage with guests authentically, and help create a vibrant, inviting bar environment that reflects the unique story of our neighborhood.
Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience:

  • Prepare and serve beverages accurately and efficiently, following recipes and presentation standards.
  • Provide warm, attentive, and engaging service that reflects IHG’s “True Hospitality” philosophy.
  • Share knowledge of drink menus, local ingredients, and Hotel Indigo’s neighborhood story to enhance the guest experience.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

Bar Operations:

  • Set up and break down the bar according to standards, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
  • Maintain stock levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with inventory counts.
  • Operate POS system accurately and handle cash, credit card, and room charge transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all local alcohol service laws and hotel policies.

Teamwork & Support:

  • Work collaboratively with the lead bartender, barbacks, servers, and kitchen team.
  • Assist with training new team members when needed.
  • Support service during busy periods by taking initiative and maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hotel setting preferred; entry-level applicants with strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn may be considered.
  • Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, and wine is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
  • TIPS, ServSafe, or equivalent alcohol certification preferred or required based on local laws.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
