Where you can make an impact: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with guest requests and standard recipes. Provide prompt, friendly service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking beverages, cleaning glassware, and organizing supplies. Accurately process guest orders and payments, ensuring correct handling of cash and credit transactions. Check identification of guests to ensure legal drinking age compliance. Assist in the setup and breakdown of bar areas for events or shifts. Keep up to date on beverage menus, promotions, and new drink trends. Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service. Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience. Requirements Education/Formal Training: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have Food Handlers & TABC certification. Experience: Previous experience as bartender/mixologist role preferred. Knowledge/Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing outstanding service. Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately. Basic computer proficiency, including restaurant POS software. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
