Description Position Overview We’re looking for team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment. This combined position involves running food, bussing tables, tending bar, and providing exceptional guest service. You’ll work closely with other staff to ensure every guest leaves happy. Bartender Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly. Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed. Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age in accordance with Massachusetts state law and company alcohol service policies. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including counters, taps, and equipment. Restock beer, liquor, and bar supplies throughout the shift. Handle payments accurately and maintain tabs when needed. Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to ensure a great guest experience. Follow all TIPS and Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC) regulations for responsible service. Assist in running food and beverages from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately. Assist with clearing and cleaning tables for the next guests. Support coworkers with guest needs and food orders as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization. Greet guests and provide a positive, welcoming experience. Assist in restocking service stations, utensils, and condiments as needed. Requirements Strong multitasking and communication skills. Positive attitude and a passion for teamwork. Prior restaurant, bar, or food service experience preferred, we will train the right candidates. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and be comfortable standing, bending, and moving for extended periods. TIPS Certification (or willingness to obtain). Must be 18 years or older to serve alcohol (per Massachusetts state law). Must be available to work evenings and weekends as part of regular scheduling requirements. Flexibility in scheduling is required due to dynamic event operations at Lovell Arena.
