OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with people.
There is an opportunity to learn / work in the distillery and across our mobile bar and events (these are both in a different lcoation to the pub).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in bartending or a similar hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a hygienic work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
  • Ideally someone with a full clean driving license.
  • Ideally someone who can work away from base location (if providing support to mobile bars and events).
    Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given to customers.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable.
  • Using Leafe app to manage shifts and adhere to cleaning schedules.
