Description As a Bartender, you are responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to members and guests in a warm, professional, and efficient manner. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring a high standard of service within the club's bar, lounge, or event spaces. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, however, other duties may be assigned. Prepare and serve drinks according to club recipes and standards. Greet members and guests, offering attentive and personalized service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas. Ensure all beverages are prepared hygienically and efficiently. Upsell and recommend wines, spirits, and cocktails where appropriate. Check identification to verify legal drinking age. Maintain stock levels and request bar supplies as needed. Set up and break down the bar area for daily operations or events. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and member charges accurately. Comply with all health and safety regulations and club policies. Support the food & beverage team during events, banquets, or busy periods. Manage member and guest concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a bartender (1–2 years minimum); country club or upscale environment preferred. Knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and beer. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be 21 years of age or older (based on local laws). TIPS or other alcohol awareness certification is a plus. Professional appearance and demeanor.
