Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices and prevent over-serving.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders seamlessly, supporting overall restaurant operations.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash transactions, change calculation, and order totals.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly, understanding legal requirements related to alcohol service.
