PURPOSE To prepare and serve alcohol to guests that is consistent with the standards of the Beverage Department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Formulate beverages according to established recipes; Serve guests in compliance with MAST and guest service standards; Rings up each transaction on the cash register and adhere to accurate cash handling policies. Maintain necessary pars and monitor quality of product and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Initiate and establish superior guest service including recommendation of drink selection and informing of specials and product knowledge. Utilize and implement MAST training to prevent and recognize potential alcohol related concerns and over service. Set up and close workstations in compliance with established procedures. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience: High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD). One (1) year guest service. Six (6) months bartending experience or completion of accredited bartending school. Or three (3) month internal fast track program completed. Skills and Abilities: Above average knowledge of Spirits, Wine, and Beer. Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
